We received a grant to make an AED simulation that uses hand tracking. This is a good development, but research shows that people are reluctant to use the AEDs in an emergency situation. This is partly due to a lack of self-confidence in one&#8217;s own actions and unfamiliarity with the devices.    <\/p><p>TripleMotion Media B.V. (Developer CareUp) intends to tackle this problem by developing a virtual reality simulation that, based on hand tracking technology in combination with the oculus quest, allows users to practice with their own hands in a very realistic way and thus become familiar with AEDs. In this way, resuscitation on the street improves, which is essential for the victim&#8217;s chances of survival. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e7c3c4e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e7c3c4e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Objective(s) and the intended result of the project.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4ede388 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4ede388\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>With this project, TMM aims to develop a <em>simulation <\/em>for AED training based on <em>hand tracking<\/em> technology. With this project, she can demonstrate that the idea that she has investigated for technical and economic feasibility within the MIT Feasibility 2019 can actually be made technically work in practice and on the right scale. <\/p><p><strong>Topics she will focus on within the project are:<\/strong><\/p><p>&#8211; Develop your own hands as game controllers, e.g. if they are crossed or have to make cutting movements, etc.;<\/p><p>&#8211; Development of the 3D environment and interaction with the environment<\/p><p>&#8211; Development of different scenarios and CPR training with AED simulation<br> <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TripleMotino Media B.V.
