What is the authority of a caring IG’er?<\/strong>
A caring IG person does not have an independent authority to perform a reserved act, but they may perform them on behalf of a doctor or nurse specialist.<\/p>

Competence of the caring IG<\/strong>
However, the caring IG person must be competent in performing this reserved action. The competence is partly derived from the diploma and must also always be kept up to date. <\/p>

If necessary, a caregiver can register in the quality register<\/u><\/a> of the V&VN. This keeps track of the competence of a healthcare professional. This way you can demonstrate your competence as a caregiver in a simple way. <\/p>
